WHAT IS THIS JOURNEY?
A six-month transformational program for twelve carefully selected remarkable women who are up to big things in the world. The program will be led by Lynne Twist, Carolyn Buck Luce, and Sara Vetter. This intimate program will empower you to take the next evolutionary leap in your life and your contribution to the world. And it will help you design the best decade of your life, so far. By being part of this journey, you will join with five prior years of RWJ graduates that have been through this program. Our commitment is to grow this network of remarkable sisters into a sisterhood they can count on.
WHY NOW?
We are at a pivotal time in human history, the Sophia Century, when women will take their co-equal role in partnership with men and the world will come into balance. And this upcoming decade is shaping up to be the most pivotal decade in human history. Mother earth, our societies and our institutions are crying out for the rebalancing of feminine and masculine energies so that empathy, insight, nurture, collaboration, compassion and gratitude can combine with logic, reason, technology and might to build a world that works for everyone. The 2020 shock waves of the pandemic, the stark reality of racial injustice, the decline in social and political discourse, and the severe climate crisis and the #metoo movement in 2017, are all tailwinds pushing us to this new future. There has never been a time such as this that requires remarkable women to step up and offer their unique contributions to what they care most about.
OUR PURPOSE
Our experience over many years working with amazing women is that there are many historical, cultural, societal and familial headwinds that hold women back, keep them from recognizing their full remarkableness and lock them into stories of “not enough” or “too much” that no longer serve them. The patriarchal system has also kept women from fully standing with and for each other in our power, our beauty, our ambitions and our dreams. This course is designed to transform that – to allow you to discover a new story about yourself, get clear about your unique destiny and equip you to step fully into the next chapter of your life – and do so in an enduring sisterhood that you can count on forever.
We are committed to providing an impeccable environment, powerful distinctions and a container of deep relatedness that will give you the opportunity to:
- Have the unique experience of being fully uplifted, seen, and emboldened by other powerful women
- Become part of a circle of deep relatedness and sisterhood that you can count on for the rest of your life
- Learn powerful distinctions that you can live into that will awaken how remarkable you are and enable you to fully realize your unique gifts.
- Experience a new level of clarity, power and effectiveness in every area of your life
- Clear away obstacles, wounds and unexamined assumptions that have held you back
- Connect with and fully own your inner and outer beauty
- Deeply experience your own sufficiency and prosperity
- Experience deep healing and have access to ancient shamanic and indigenous wisdom and ceremony
- Have a direct experience of the power and majesty of the natural world
- Be confident that the next ten years will be the best decade of your life, so far.

THE 2024 JOURNEY
Our journey together will traverse key milestones through a series of transformational retreats and gatherings:
Retreat #1: The Internal Journey – Lake Tahoe, CA
May 1 – May 5, 2024
We will all be together for a four-day/four-night in-person retreat to create our sisterhood, understand our life stories so far, and delve into key distinctions that will facilitate the opening of transformational possibilities as we “hear the call” from the future and consider a new story.
Retreat #2: Experiencing the Journey of “Unknowing” – Immersion into the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest
July 20 – July 31, 2024
Here we will have the opportunity to “unlearn” and “unknow” what has guided us to date in order to learn anew, as we experience ancient indigenous, earth-based wisdom.
Retreat #3: The Return – Lake Tahoe, CA
September 25 – September 29, 2024
A three-day in-person gathering to witness, acknowledge, integrate, commit and celebrate all that we have learned as we launch ourselves into the best decade of our life so far.

More Testimonials
“The Remarkable Women’s Journey helped me move from inaction to action in all areas of my life, most importantly providing me with an opportunity to stand for the restoration of the health and well being of Mother earth and all her inhabitants.”
Cheryl Buck
Philanthropist and Cancer Anthropologist
“It was an amazing experience and the first time I had made such a big investment in myself, for myself. At this time of transition in my life, finding a new way to frame my contributions and talk about my path outside the workplace and most importantly, to be able to clearly communicate what it means to me to live with purpose. I felt like I had been doing that but this course helped me get it so cohesive and clear. The women I met were all wonderful, vulnerable and as uncomfortable as I was when we started. The real miracle of the course is they will be my lifelong supporters now that we have made this journey together.”
