The Spring Forum is especially created for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) members, based on Lynne’s best-selling book The Soul of Money: Transforming Your Relationship with Money and Life (re-released in 2017 and translated into 9 languages). Lynne will examine the ways our beliefs constrict our relationship with money, offer new pathways to realign that relationship, and inspire us to take a stand for philanthropic work where we are fully ourselves as fundraisers and other fundraising-related professionals. (Lynne will be available to sign books at the reception, and there will be some books for sale on hand.)
Lynne will cater her talk to younger women who hold or are moving into, fundraising leadership roles. Two of the AFP members fitting this demographic, Priscilla Lopez, Leadership Gifts & Campaign Associate at ACLU Northern California, and Renee Saedi, Donor Stewardship Officer at Global Fund for Women, will act as respondents to Lynne’s keynote, serving as a gateway to a robust audience discussion. If you are interested in creating a culture of philanthropy in your organization, and for people in various roles to gain valuable perspectives on their relationship with money, asking for money, etc — don’t miss this special opportunity with Lynne Twist. Bring your whole team!
